Lighting Designer – David Tozer
A memorial to James Madison and the Enslaved Community, a museum of American history, and a center for constitutional education that engages the public with the enduring legacy of Madison’s most powerful idea; government by the people. Prolume developed a complete custom light fixture using the Micro Series XMLs mounted on extruded aluminum with a yoke clip for further beam angle control. Due to the need to preserve the structure of this historic monument and no ability to use screws or nails for hanging, custom compression mounting brackets were developed to position the fixtures between the open joists.
